I grew up in the north and always had to deal with the cold weather. I was extremely excited when my job transferred me to the south. I was ready to leave the humidity and move on to some dry heat. As mentally ready as I was my body was not. When I finally made the move to the desert, I ran into a respiratory condition. I found myself waking up with nasal problems. My doctor told me that as much as I love the heat it is just too dry for my system. He recommended that I install electric central heating. This would regulate the air circulating through my house, and would enable me to breathe better during the night.
It seems that the main problem I had been experiencing was that, during the night, the air in my house was too dry. Being from the north, my system was used to breathing air with more moisture. When my doctor first recommended that I purchase an electric central heating system, I did not understand how a heating system could help me. However, a central heating system is designed to regulate the climate in a building or home. Having the option to be able to regulate the internal climate would help set my respiratory system back on track. I was able to find a system that contained the entire, HVAC (Heating, ventilation and air conditioning) system. Since my neighbor is an electrician, he was able to install the unit for me. My house is now has clean air flowing through the entire place.
